"Moy tolsty protivniy zhenikh" (My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancee)

Our hero is a young, beautiful woman who agrees to this television adventure in hopes of finding true family and happiness. Everything takes place in a big house. She has 14 days to learn about her fiancee, fall in love with him, and most importantly get her family and friends to believe that her feelings are real. Otherwise, no wedding and no prize. But she does not know the whole truth either. Her "fiancee" is an actor who is playing the role of the most annoying, obnoxious, intolerable young man, and to believe in true love with him is not the easiest of tasks.

This show boasts lots of twisty situations and unexpected turns which make it all the more interesting for the viewers following the lives of the characters.

Candidate is a new reality show and an adaptation of Apprentices. This program has every chance to become one of the most exciting TV projects, since ambitions rule the world! Adolescence, self-sufficiency and vast schemes are not enough to become successful. Thanks to the participation of the largest restaurant-keeper Arkady Novikov, the project will give many young people a chance to make their way in life and climb the ladder before the viewers’ eyes. Moscow is a city of many stunning possibilities. Catering business has become one of the most popular in the metropolis. An opportunity to be employed by the leading restaurant-keeper is not only a grandiose career item, but also a base for the new enterprises. Besides, catering business is a window to high life, a way to meet the mighty of this world. A businessman’s success depends on many factors, such as talent, professionalism, creative thinking and personal qualities. A businessman should also be a personality – that’s undisputable. The participants will show their worth making decisions and choosing between their private and business interests. They will pass different tests, try to hold an enterprise correctly, carry on negotiations, employ staff, organize show programs, start a catering business from scratch…

 The teams will be nailed from time to time, and a keen jury will do justice to a nonstandard decision. Arkady Novikov will make a final choice. 16 persons (8 men and 8 women) from 20 to 30 years old, from different Russian cities, will fight for the possibility to become top managers with a one-year contract over 1 million rubles. The candidates will live together in large apartments. The participants are divided into two teams; in each episode they carry out a business-task that becomes harder and harder. During the performance of tasks the candidates show their qualities – managerial, creative and personal.

Each time according to the task results one of the loser team’s members leaves the project and goes home. The decision concerning the “dismissal” is taken in a special meeting room by the presenter. He and his two assistants determine the loser team, then – the three persons who will leave, and finally, decide who of those three will be “dismissed” this time. The two people who remained go back to the apartments to keep on fighting.
