The Final Minute comes in an unusual format: there are no cross-characters or a common story. Episodes are individual novels unfolding in real time. The characters lead an ordinary life, they have their troubles, concerns, jobs, family and secrets. Still, life can make a sharp turn in a flash and turn everything upside down. Nothing is secret any longer, friends turn into enemies, chance encounters become fateful … What shall the characters do? How will the game turn out? Who will stand to gain and who will have to end it all? All the answers at the last minute...

A unique manner of filming, unexpected camera angles, blurred scenes – all these options of live camera easily turn the viewer into a witness of the events. A series of The Final Minute is based on the Argentine format Tiempo Final by Telefe. The series first appeared on the Argentine television in 2000.
