Studio 2V TV-series have been appraised by an international jury

Two TV series of Studio 2V were awarded at DetectiveFEST, XII International Festival of Law-Enforcement Detective Movie and TV Programs held in Moscow. Special prizes in the Detective TV Series category were awarded to Kodeks Chesty 4 (Code of Honor 4), which premiere screening became a real hit at NTV last week as well as an 8 episode movie about a detective reviewer - Investigations Unit Reviewer.

Georgiy Nikolaenko, the director of all the four seasons of Kodeks Chesty 4 (Code of Honor 4) hit the taste of the jury, which included representatives of various world countries. “I am grateful to the jury for such high estimates. The fact that they have noticed Kodeks Chesty 4 (Code of Honor 4) is a proof that the series touches upon the problems pertinent not exclusively to Russia itself but the world as a whole. It is also great that such notions as honor, dignity, men’s friendship, though they sound differently in different languages, have the same meaning". Pavel Korchagin, Studio 2V Director General after getting an award for Investigations Unit Reviewer said that detective series would always be popular. “Unfortunately, we will hardly ever eradicate crime. However, our target is to show that good always wins and crime is always persecuted."

The prizewinners were awarded statuettes in the form of a golden loop – a detective’s symbol as well as name diplomas and a black hat – the competition trademark. Studio 2V TV movies are many times winners at the International Festival. In 2002, a series starring Alexander Domogarov – Marsh Turetskogo 2 (The March by Turetskiy 2) became the Best Detective Series. In 2009 – Law & Order: Operative Investigations Unit was acknowledged the best in the Detective TV Movie or Detective Series Episode with Finished Plot category and Vozvrashchenie Mukhtara 2 (Return of Mukhtar 2), the most popular family series, was awarded a special prize.
