Oksana Stashenko, a star of the TV series “Return of Mukhtar 2”, has been awarded the title of the Honoured Artist of Russia. She got this good news by phone while was visiting with her relatives in the Netherlands. “When my friends called me and said that I had been given the title, I became a little confused at first. But afterwards I started jumping for joy all over the place and could not calm down a great while,” – actress says.
It is interesting that another star of the TV series “Return of Mukhtar 2”, Alexander Voevodin (starring as Lieutenant Colonel Khrulyov) was also awarded this honorary title in 2003.
The solemn awards ceremony will take place in the Kremlin this March.
